About

Founder & Principal designer — Method by VD
Vidhi Doshi’s design sensibility is intuitive—an organic blend of form and feeling that feels like second nature. A top-ranking graduate from the School of Interior Design, Mumbai, her journey began with a love for spaces that breathe, evolve, and communicate. Long before launching her studio, Method by VD, she shaped homes and studios for friends and family, infusing each with the effortless warmth that would become her signature.
Her foundation was built not only through independent projects but by working alongside renowned architects and interior designers across Mumbai. Over a decade, she collaborated with leading firms, gaining a deep respect for detail, materials, and human emotion.
In 2022, she founded Method by VD—a studio where intuition meets intelligence. From compact city apartments to contemporary workspaces, she’s led a diverse range of projects. Her style marries minimalism with character: tactile, functional, and luminously modern. With muted palettes, layered textures, and mindful forms, Vidhi creates spaces that tell stories—of who you are, how you live, and what you aspire to become.
MANIFESTO
- Design must feel like home, even when it’s bold.
- Details aren’t accents; they’re the architecture of emotion.
- Spaces should breathe, hold silence, and invite conversation.
- A room should never be louder than the people inside it.
- Function is poetry. Beauty is precision.
- Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication—when achieved with intention.
Philosophy
Vidhi believes that a space is not something you merely inhabit—it is something that should respond, reveal, and rise to meet you. Her philosophy is rooted in the conviction that great design is both invisible and unforgettable—where function is never sacrificed for beauty, and beauty never feels like it’s trying too hard.
